SECTION 01 / 17Acceptance and scope
01

Acceptance and scope

These Terms & Conditions form an agreement between you and Veteran Claims LLC ("Veteran Claims," "we," "us," or "our") regarding your access to and use of this public website, educational content, and free tools. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

A separately signed service agreement controls any paid engagement and prevails if it conflicts with these website terms.

02

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of agreeing to these terms. If you use the site for another person, you represent that you have lawful authority to do so and will not submit or expose their information without permission.

03

Educational—not official advice

Veteran Claims provides consulting, educational information, and claim-preparation support. The site is not legal advice, medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or an official benefits determination. Use does not create an attorney-client or health-care-provider relationship.

Veteran Claims is a private company and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or part of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs or any government agency.

04

No guaranteed outcome

Every claim depends on its facts, evidence, applicable law, medical findings, and VA review. Prior results, examples, timelines, estimates, and educational scenarios do not guarantee a rating, effective date, approval, payment, or processing time. You remain responsible for deadlines and official submissions unless a signed agreement expressly says otherwise.

05

Tools, estimates, and changing rules

Calculators, condition finders, checklists, state-benefit summaries, news briefs, and other tools simplify complex rules and may contain omissions, delays, or errors. Benefits, rates, laws, procedures, and eligibility rules change.

Verify important decisions through the cited official source, VA.gov, the responsible agency, or a qualified professional. Tool output is not evidence of entitlement or a promise of service.

06

Local worksheets and copies

Some tools store progress locally in your browser. Locally stored notes are not sent to Veteran Claims merely because you typed them, unless the tool clearly states otherwise. Anyone with access to the same device and browser profile may be able to view them.

Printing, downloading, copying, or taking a screenshot creates another copy. Clearing the browser worksheet does not erase those separate copies.

07

Shared devices and private surroundings

You are responsible for reasonable precautions within your control before, during, and after interactions with Veteran Claims representatives, employees, and affiliates. Protect your screen, passwords, unlocked device, browser profile, voicemail, email, text messages, downloads, printouts, and the privacy of the room where you communicate.

To the extent permitted by law, Veteran Claims is not responsible for a disclosure caused solely by your leaving information accessible, using an insecure or shared device or account, allowing others to overhear, or ignoring an available privacy warning or clearing control.

08

Our responsibilities remain ours

Your responsibility for your device and physical environment does not waive or reduce Veteran Claims' duties for information we receive, and it does not excuse disclosure caused by our own acts, omissions, systems, personnel, or service providers. Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

09

Services and fees

There is no upfront fee to begin the Veteran Claims process. Scope, eligibility, authorizations, responsibilities, payment timing, and all other financial terms are provided in the separate agreement delivered through onboarding.

Nothing on this public site replaces, expands, or changes a signed service agreement. Scheduling a call alone does not guarantee acceptance as a client.

10

Communications

If you provide contact information, you authorize us to respond about your request through the channels you select, subject to applicable law and your stated preferences. Message and data rates may apply. Marketing consent is not a condition of purchasing services, and eligible marketing messages include opt-out instructions.

11

Acceptable use

You may use the site only for lawful, personal, informational purposes. You may not attempt unauthorized access; interfere with operation; introduce malicious code; impersonate another person; submit information without authority; exploit, reverse engineer, or bypass tool controls; scrape at scale; or reproduce proprietary content or databases for commercial use without written permission.

We may restrict or suspend access reasonably believed to threaten users, systems, rights, or lawful operation.

12

Intellectual property

Veteran Claims branding, original content, software, databases, games, and tool design are owned by or licensed to Veteran Claims and protected by applicable law. We grant you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use the public site for its intended personal purpose. Government publications and third-party materials remain their owners' property.

13

Third-party services

The site may link to VA.gov, state agencies, scheduling, communications, payment, mapping, social, and other services. Veteran Claims does not control their content, availability, accessibility, security, or policies. A link is not an endorsement. Review a third party's terms and privacy notice before giving it information.

14

Availability and corrections

We may modify, correct, suspend, or discontinue any public feature without notice. We aim for useful and current information, but the site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or suitable for a particular outcome, to the extent permitted by law.

15

Limits that law permits

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Veteran Claims and its owners, personnel, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from public-site use, reliance on estimates, external services, unauthorized misuse, or events outside reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms excludes a duty or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including responsibility for our own conduct where applicable law does not permit limitation.

16

Florida law and severability

These website terms are governed by Florida law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where federal law or another mandatory law applies. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.

17

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the site, services, and law change. The effective date identifies the current version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
